When I hit 39, everything changed—weight gain I couldn’t control, constant cravings, low energy, joint pain, and mood swings that didn’t feel like me. As a nurse practitioner and mom of four, I kept pushing through, but the usual advice (more cardio, eat less) didn’t work… and I was dismissed when I asked for help. Some days I just had to lie down and reset.
I realized I couldn’t truly care for my family or my patients if I wasn’t taking care of myself. So I focused on hormone balance through quality, nutrient-dense food, stabilizing blood sugar, managing cortisol, building strength, mindset work, and movement I actually enjoyed, like tennis classes. Slowly, my energy returned, my cravings settled, I started feeling confident in my clothes again— I felt happy, thriving, and truly like myself.
Over the years, I’ve heard so many patients share similar stories of being dismissed or misunderstood before they met me. I love helping, educating, and motivating women to take control of their health, and coaching allows for deeper, lasting transformation over time.
